General court-martial against USAFA Cadet canceled, charges dismissed
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (KRDO) – A general court-martial against a cadet accused of abusive sexual contact was canceled, with the charge dismissed.
In February, the USAFA said Cadet Palmer Collet was charged with two specifications of abusive sexual contact in violation of Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice.
On March 15, a spokesperson for the Academy said, "the general court-martial scheduled to start Feb. 20 was canceled. The convening authority has withdrawn and dismissed the charge and specifications. There was no court-martial. Details of the resolution are protected by the Privacy Act."

In January, another cadet was found guilty of two specifications of sexual assault in violation of Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice.
He was sentenced to five years confinement, dismissed from the Air Force (punitive charge), a reprimand, and forfeiture of all pay and allowances.
