Police investigating shooting in east Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - One person is in the hospital after a shooting in east Colorado Springs late Tuesday.

Around 10:30 p.m., Colorado Springs Police were called to the 1200 block of Potter Drive near Mitchell High School for reports of a shooting.

When they got there, police said officers found one person who had been shot at least once. That person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

This investigation is ongoing.
