KRDO13 Season of Sharing food drive collects 34,000+ pounds of food

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - On Thursday, Nov. 14, KRDO13 hosted its annual Season of Sharing food drive at American Furniture Warehouse in Colorado Springs.

Donations will go to benefit the Care and Share Food Bank.

The numbers are in and according to Care and Share, this year the drive collected 34,754 pounds of non-perishable food! This includes food that will be purchased with monetary donations that were made.

Care and Share will distribute every pound collected to Southern Colorado Springs families as the region struggles with historic levels of food insecurity.
