Memorial planned for late council member Ray Aguilera

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The City of Pueblo is holding a Celebration of Life service for late council member Ray Aguilera.

Aguilera passed away on Sunday surrounded by family. He was 78.

He served on Pueblo's City Council for more than a decade as a representative of District 4, which includes Bessemer.

The celebration of his life will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Bessemer Park. Everyone is welcome.

People are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair to the service.

The Pueblo City Council honored the regular session Monday evening with a moment of silence.
