Who let the dogs out? Everyone wants to get out and walk the dog
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The flip side of us being home so often is that our furry friends are getting a ton of attention and extra companionship.
No one knows this more than KRDO Sports Director Rob Namnoum, who's competing with his kids for dog walking privileges:
With more free time, we wanted to know if local dog owners were choosing to spend more of it with their pooch. Owners at a local dog park had a lot to say about the subject:
"I've been walking my dogs every single day because I have time now away from my job. That's literally all I do during my day now so," said one dog owner.
"We probably walk her about three times a day. That wasn't the norm before? Maybe about two before," said another.
"[Before,] not every day because I was working a lot. But now I'm not working so I'm definitely walking him a lot more," said a third.
And how much do they look forward to walking their dog?
"It's like the highlight of my day."
