Dry & Hot For Most, Rain Returns Tomorrow
Tonight: Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the mountains will end, then mostly clear with low temperatures in the 60s for most areas on the plains, but the high mountain valleys and mountain communities will cool into the 40s and 50s.
Extended: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected most of the week over the mountains, and will become more likely over the higher terrain along the I-25 corridor again on Monday, and perhaps farther east over the plains on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will be hot on Monday with 90s and 100s expected for the plains, with only slight cooling on Tuesday and Wednesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms might be more confined to the mountains again on Thursday. Temperatures will remain very warm through the end of the week.
