Sunshine Slowly Returns

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

Drier air from the northeast is pushing our monsoon flow out of the state. Warmer weather will return with just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms each afternoon.

Expect a little bit of drizzle overnight Sunday into Monday, and low temperatures in the upper 40s. Sunshine returns Monday afternoon and high temperatures will bounce back into the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Typical summer weather will be the norm with scattered showers each afternoon.
