Shooting forces brief road closures near Strarmoor Hills

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPSO) is investigating a reported shooting in unincorporated El Paso County. Deputies temporarily closed roads in the area due to the shooting.

According to the sheriff's office, an investigation near B Street and Venetucci Boulevard. The sheriff's office first reported this at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday.

The roads are back open and an adult male was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot. His condition is unknown at this time, according to EPSO.

EPSO says that there is no known threat to the public.
