On the Lookout: Widefield porch pirate sought by deputies, Fountain police look for armed robber
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo (KRDO) --- Fountain police are looking for a man accused of robbing a gas station and threatening the front clerk with a gun.
On Feb. 11 around 4 a.m., police say a young man entered the Kum & Go gas station on Fountain Mesa Road. He's accused of using a silver and black handgun to demand money from the clerk.
The suspect made off with an unidentified amount of money and other items.
Police say they suspect the man is a juvenile Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches and weighs between 110 and 115 pounds. They say he was wearing a black jacket, over a hoodie, a ball cap, black pants and white tennis shoes with dark laces, gloves, and a surgical mask.
Nearby surveillance video caught what appears to be the suspect and someone else leaving a gray sedan before entering the gas station.

In the Widefield area, deputies are looking for a porch pirate whom some on social media have called "The butt-crack bandit."
Neighbors in the Sunrise Ridge neighborhood near Widefield want help finding a brazen porch pirate.
Surveillance video caught a black Chevy Avalanche truck pulling into a driveway on Grand Valley Drive on Feb. 19 around 3:40 p.m.
The alleged thief is seen taking her time putting items back in the car before walking up to the front door and leaving with two Amazon packages.
Other people in the area believe they've also fallen victim to same porch pirate.
