3 bodies found on separate properties in San Luis Valley, suspect on the loose
CONEJOS COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Multiple Colorado law enforcement agencies are looking for a murder suspect after finding human remains on two separate properties in the San Luis Valley.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation identified the suspect as 26-year-old Adre Jordan Baroz, according to our partners at 9News that attended a Wednesday press conference.
Ken Anderson, the chief of police for Alamosa, says Baroz is also known in the area as "psycho." Detectives say the suspect is from the Sanford area, about 25 miles north of the New Mexico border.
Baroz is wanted for homicide and is not in custody. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public. If seen, call 911 instead.
Investigators say the remains of three people were found on two properties located in Conejos County near the town of Las Sauces. Neither property owners are currently living at those sites.
CBI has setup a tip line for information related to the case. Anyone who thinks they may have information about the case should call 719-270-0210.
Police say this does not appear to be connected to the Suzanne Morphew investigation. However, all possibilities are being considered. Morphew is a mother of two in Chaffee County who went missing in May.
