Police investigating after Rocky Ford man found dead inside burning garage

ROCKY FORD, Colo (KRDO) -- The Rocky Ford Fire Department discovered a man dead inside a burning garage last weekend, now officers are investigating his death.

Early Sunday morning, firefighters responded to reports of a detached garage on fire at 410 N. 14th Street.

That's when crews found the body inside the garage. The Rocky Ford Police Department says this has been ruled a homicide.

No word on the specific cause of death. Police have not yet released his name.
