Seven people, including a Walsenburg police officer, injured after pursuit and crash

WALSENBURG, Colo. (KRDO) -- Seven people, including a Walsenburg police officer, were taken to the hospital after a pursuit and crash on Monday, Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said.
CSP says that one of their troopers tried to pull over a Nissan Altima for speeding. The car didn't pull over, but the trooper didn't start a pursuit.
A while later, a Walsenburg police officer started a pursuit with the same car, according to CSP. They say that the Altima crossed the median on I-25 and collided with an oncoming SUV.
CSP says the crash landed the Walsenburg police officer in the hospital with minor injuries. Four people in the SUV were taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries, and two people in the suspect Altima were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
