Police investigating homicide in Pueblo, 22nd this year

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- A man is dead and a homicide investigation is underway in Pueblo Saturday morning on the northeast side of town, according to the Pueblo Police Department.

Police said they responded to the 1700 block of Constitution Road around 10 p.m. Friday for a shooting. They found a man dead once on scene.

Crimes Against Persons Detectives were called to investigate.

Based on initial information, police said this appears to be an isolated incident with no further threat to the community.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office. This is the 22nd homicide investigation by the City of Pueblo in 2022.
