Three arrested in string of drive-by shootings in Pueblo’s Bessemer neighborhood

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Monday, the Pueblo Police Department announced arrests were made in several drive-by shootings in Pueblo's Bessemer neighborhood that happened in two days.

According to the Pueblo Police Department (PPPD), officers were dispatched to several drive-by shootings that happened on Oct. 13 and Oct 14 in the 1600 block of Spruce St. and the 2000 block of E. Orman Ave.

Investigators identified the vehicle involved and found it in the 3000 block of Baltimore Ave. Police determined it was owned by 33-year-old Bobbi Sue Aguilar.

After a search warrant was executed at a home in the 3000 block of Baltimore Ave., police found several handguns.

Aguilar, 19-year-old Zacariah Trujillo-Martinez, and 19-year-old Jacob Archuleta were taken into custody. According to the PPD, officers have taken several recent reports involving the three suspects.

Trujillo-Martinez and Archuleta were arrested on eight counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit 1st Degree Murder. Aguilar was arrested on eight counts of Complicity to Criminal Attempt to Commit 1st Degree Murder as the driver of the vehicle during these drive-by shootings.

Police say additional charges are pending for all three suspects upon completion of further investigation.
