Pueblo Police arrested an aggravated robbery suspect

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- On August 17, 2022, three suspects in a stolen red 2004 Toyota Rav-4 committed an armed robbery in the area of 2000 block Sherwood Lane.

The suspects robbed three juveniles at gunpoint. The suspects took clothing items and backpacks from the victims.

Later that evening Colorado Springs police assisted Pueblo Police and found the stolen vehicle in Colorado Springs. 18-year-old, Amour Velazquez was identified as being one of the suspects in the Aggravated Robbery.

Velazquez was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center on two counts of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, and 3 counts of Restraining Order Violation. Pueblo Police are actively following up on this case. Additional charges regarding this incident may be coming soon.
