Second bomb threat in Denver metro area in one-day forces a school to evacuate

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Adams County Sheriff's Office began investigating an active bomb threat at Prima Medical Institute outside of the Denver metro area Wednesday evening.
According to the sheriff's office, the initial bomb call came in at 3:37 p.m. The school was evacuated and there was a shelter in place for surrounding residents and businesses.
Students from Prima Medical Institute were relocated to a nearby restaurant.
The sheriff's office Bomb Squad and K9s began searching the building shortly after the evacuation.
This is the second bomb threat that's forced an evacuation in the Denver metro area. Earlier Wednesday, the State Capitol building was evacuated.
In that incident, Colorado State Patrol said K9s and security swept the building but no threat was found.
