Court Docs: Fountain woman accused of sexual assault on a child is pregnant with victim’s child
FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KRDO) -- An arrest affidavit obtained by KRDO revealed the 31-year-old suspect in a sexual assault on a child case claims she is pregnant by the victim.
On June 27, 2022, detectives with the Fountain Police Department began a sexual assault on a child investigation after a therapist came forward with allegations.
According to the affidavit, 31-year-old Andrea Neenet Serrano told the therapist that she was pregnant by a 14-year-old boy.
On July 5, 2022, Serrano confirmed with investigators that she had spent nights with the victim and that he had even lived with her for several weeks.
According to the affidavit, Serrano said the victim "looked at her like a mother figure and even called her mom before."
The affidavit says the victim was in the car while Serrano was speaking to the therapist. At that time, she stated she was eight weeks pregnant with the victim's child.
Based on that information, the affidavit said investigators determined the victim would've been 13 years old at the time of conception and Serrano was 30 years old. Serrano told investigators she had been drinking when it happened.
Officers arrested Serrano on July 5, 2022. She was booked into El Paso County Criminal Justice Center for two felony charges; Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust and Sexual Assault on a Child.
