A male inmate died at the El Paso County Jail
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO)- A male inmate died while in custody at the El Paso County Jail.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPSO), on the morning of July 4, 2022, a male inmate was found unresponsive in his cell.
EPSO personnel began medical care until American Medical Care and the Colorado Springs Fire Department arrived.
The inmate passed away despite life-saving measures, according to EPSO.
EPSO has not released the cause of death or the inmate's identity at this time.
