Barr Camp temporarily closed due to COVID-19

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Officials with Barr Camp announced they had to temporarily close the remote cabin due to COVID-19.

The announcement was made Sunday, June 26. According to the Barr Camp Facebook, the cabin is closed through the morning of July 1.

According to the Barr Camp Facebook, officials are reaching out to guests with reservations between June 27 and July 1. However, officials ask people to not email with questions unless necessary.

Officials said, upon negative COVID-19 tests Friday morning, Barr Camp will begin to accept guests that night.
