El Paso County mails primary election ballots Monday
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- More than 459,000 ballots were mailed out Monday in El Paso County to get to voters by June 17 ahead of the primary election on June 28.
The ballot includes the races for U.S. Senator and Representative, state Senator and Representative, Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Attorney General. The ballot also includes local races for Clerk and Recorder, Sheriff, and County Coroner.
Keep in mind that the exact content of your ballot will be based on where you live.
“Elections are incredibly important in our democratic system,” said Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman. “We know the citizens of El Paso County are anxious to have their say in the direction of our country, state, and local community. I encourage people to take their civic responsibility seriously and utilize this opportunity to vote and make their voice heard.”
To vote in person, you can register up until election day.
