FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KRDO) -- A man was arrested Wednesday morning following a reported burglary at The Fountain Valley YMCA, according to Fountain Police Department (FPD).

Tuesday, Fountain police received a call about a burglary that happened earlier in the morning at The Fountain Valley YMCA located at 326 W. Alabama Ave.

Wednesday, detectives with the Directed Investigation Community Engagement Team (DICE) issued a search warrant in the 100 block of Cherry Circle.

After the search warrant was conducted, detectives identified and arrested 29-year-old Michael Vialpando.

During the investigation, officials say detectives found stolen property from the YMCA at Vialpando's residence.

Vialpando was charged with Theft and Second-Degree Burglary.

In December 2021, Vialpando plead guilty to burglarizing the City of Fountain Housing Authority. He is currently on probation for that incident as well.
