Grand Jury indicts two alleged members of Ace gang with conspiracy to commit murder and racketeering
DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- A federal Grand Jury indicted two Pueblo men on conspiracy to commit murder.
The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado says a federal Grand Jury has returned a two-count indictment against Emilio Hall, 26, and Christopher Ortiz, 41. They are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and in violation of the violent crimes in aid of racketeering statute.
In addition to the indictment, Hall is also charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
According to the indictment, Hall and Ortiz were members of the Ace street gang in Pueblo.
On June 23, 2019, the suspects and others agreed to murder Floyd Robinson, 37. Robinson was shot dead in the 1300 block of Pine Street, near Bessemer Park.
Pueblo police say Hall is accused of shooting Robinson with a 9mm handgun.
The indictment also alleges the Ace street gang is engaged in racketeering activity involving murder and the manufacture, importation, receiving, concealment, buying, selling, and other dealing in controlled substances.
Pueblo police say Hall is currently in custody, however, Ortiz is at large.

The investigation is being conducted by the Pueblo Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, with assistance from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Colorado State Patrol. The prosecution is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Jason St. Julien and the Violent Crime and Immigration Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, with assistance from the Department of Justice’s Organized Crime and Gang Section.
