Man arrested for alleged death threats to law enforcement member and their family
SALIDA, Colo. (KRDO) -- This past week, a member of the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office command staff began receiving death threats that included threats to their family.
Investigators quickly determined the person making the threats was in the Denver Metro area, prompting a multi-agency response that included the FBI, CBI, and both the Denver and Aurora Police Departments.
37-year-old Daniel Pesch was arrested Friday and taken into custody by the Aurora SWAT Team. He was transported to the Alamosa County Detention Center where he was booked on several felony and misdemeanors charges, with more charges anticipated. Pesch is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
