Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office looking for armed robbery suspect

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) — The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery of a Pueblo West liquor store late Sunday night. 

Deputies responded to Cheers Liquor on 316 S. McCulloch Blvd. at about 9:45 p.m. on a report of an armed robbery. 

Witnesses told deputies a man walked into the store, went up to the counter, brandished a handgun and threatened an employee. 

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and left the store on foot going southwest, according to the sheriff’s office. 

The man is described as African American, about 6’ 4” and about 170 to 180 pounds. He was wearing black beanie, black pants, a black jacket and black tennis shoes.
