SAGUACHE COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - Three people face charges in connection with a wild police chase involving a stolen pickup truck in Saguache County.

Around 10:54 p.m. on April 18, a Saguache County Sheriff's deputy began pursuit of the stolen 2017 Chevrolet Silverado on Highway 285 at Poncha Pass. Officers from the Colorado State Patrol, Saguache County Sheriff's Office, Alamosa County Sheriff's Office, Center Police Department, and Rio Grande County Sheriff's Office, responded to assist.

Colorado State Patrol says the driver of the stolen truck struck two law enforcement vehicles and attempted to hit three officers during the pursuit. Officers deployed a tire deflation device and were able to stop the truck on Highway 17, north of Hooper.

Two people were arrested at the scene. A third person was arrested at a nearby home after taking off on foot.
