WALSENBURG, Colo. (KRDO) - The second escaped Custer Co. inmate is back behind bars.

Bryan Webb, 30, was arrested at a home in Walsenburg around 8 p.m. Sunday. According to the Custer Co. Sheriff's Office, deputies in Huerfano Co. received an anonymous tip that Webb was inside the home, and he was arrested without incident.

The news comes nearly a week after Jerry Williams, 39, was captured at a home in Walsenburg. Huerfano Co. deputies were forced to deploy pepper spray to get him to come out of a crawlspace.

On Jan. 11, authorities say Williams and Webb overpowered a detention deputy at the Custer Co. Jail and locked her in a cell. The inmates then stole a minivan outside the facility. The van was found a few days later in the Walsenburg area.

Williams was being held on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, illegal possession of a handgun, and domestic violence. Webb was being held on drug charges, introduction of contraband into a detention facility, and assault on a peace officer, according to the Custer County Sheriff's Office.

Webb is being transferred to the Custer Co. Jail, and will be transferred to an undisclosed location later. Williams is being held at an undisclosed jail. Both men face numerous felonies.
