Colorado Springs police searching for suspects in smash and grab at dispensary
Police in Colorado Springs are searching for a group of people that rammed a stolen van into a marijuana dispensary.
Officers were called to the Native Roots dispensary on Austin Bluffs Pkwy just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Witnesses say they saw the suspects drive the van through the front door.
However, officers say they were only able to get away with some shirts and Oregano, an herb that is similar in appearance to marijuana.
Police tell KRDO that a getaway car was parked nearby, and hit a squad car that was responding to this call.
The officer was not hurt.
