Colorado Springs man killed in I-70 crash

A man from Colorado Springs was killed in a car crash Saturday morning. The crash happened on eastbound I-70 about 10 miles east of Limon.

Troopers say an SUV swerved into the center median while the driver was trying to avoid tire debris in the road. The SUV then reentered the roadway, went across all the lanes, went off the shoulder of the road and rolled multiple times.

The driver, a 60-year-old man was killed. Troopers say he was wearing his seat belt.

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash.
