Bart Bedsole

Bart Bedsole anchors KRDO NewsChannel 13 at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, and 10:00.

Prior to moving to Colorado Springs in March of 2016, Bart spent 14 years in Corpus Christi, TX, where he was named Best News Anchor in 2014 (Second Place) and 2015 (First Place) in his division by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters.

Although a native of Houston, he made quite a few trips to various parts of Colorado in both summer and winter while growing up, and he's thrilled to finally call Colorado home.

Bart thinks of himself as a pretty big gearhead, so it's not unusual to spot him tracking breaking news with one of his many radio scanners, or attaching a GoPro to himself or an object.  He recently became a licensed commercial drone pilot as well.  When he's not working these days, he's almost always with his wife and two young daughters getting to know all the wonderful people and places to be found in Southern Colorado.
