Denver Art Museum offers free admission to kids

Every day is now a free day for kids at the Denver Art Museum.

The museum announced Wednesday that anyone 18 and under- whether on a school trip or visiting on their own – can now get into the museum for free. The museum says it will also help pay for school bus trips to the museum and offer $5 youth tickets to its special exhibitions.

The Free for Kids program is being funded by Kaiser Permanent Colorado and museum board member Scott Reiman, the founder of the private investment company Hexagon.

The museum also offers free admission to everyone on the first Saturday of every month.
