Two suspects in custody after early morning break-in at Pueblo West storage facility

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office arrested two men accused of breaking into a Pueblo West storage facility.
Monday around 1:15 a.m., deputies responded to Freedom Self Storage off of E. Spaulding Ave. after security reported two men breaking into a storage unit.
When deputies arrived at the scene, the sheriff's office says the two men were getting into a 2010 Toyota Tundra parked just outside the fence of the storage facility.
At the scene, deputies saw the fence where the truck was parked had been cut.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies gave verbal orders for the men to get out of the truck. The two men, later identified as 22-year-old Paul A. Bass and 37-year-old Nathaniel Crouch, got out of the truck and were detained.

The sheriff's office says deputies saw several items in plain view in the cab and bed of the truck that appeared to have been taken from the storage unit.
According to the sheriff's office, one of the suspects admitted to breaking into a unit earlier in the morning and taking several items. He said they returned to steal more items.
The PCSO says deputies sought a warrant to search the truck.
Bass and Crouch face several charges including second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, and possession of burglary tools. The sheriff's office says they've been booked into the Pueblo County Jail.
