Local med spa giving away free facials in exchange for toys

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Local medical spa, Springs Body Sculpting, is giving away free custom facials in exchange for toys.

In return for the free facials, the medspa is asking that the toy donations be of at least a $20 value and unwrapped. Toys can be accepted until December 23rd and will be donated to Christmas Unlimited.

Established in 1923, the non-profit Christmas Unlimited does a toy distribution program in December and other programs throughout the year.

Springs Body Sculpting says the donated children's gifts could be anything from games, action figures, dolls, nerf guns, craft activity sets, or even small musical items. Employees at the medspa said they wanted to find a way to give back since this year has been so difficult amid the pandemic.

With the increasing impact of COVID-19, the medspa is following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, including increased the cleaning and sanitation of the offices, and added additional alcohol-based sanitizing stations.
