Warming Trend For The Work Week

Tonight:  Decreasing clouds with low temperatures in the 30s over the plains, mainly 20s over the mountains. As the sky clear the temperatures over parts of eastern Colorado will be cold enough for frost and/or a light freeze during the night, and so the National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for Pueblo County, and a Freeze Warning for El Paso County are areas to the east, mainly along or north of the Arkansas River.

Freeze Warnings issued along and north of Highway 50 until 9 AM tomorrow. Pueblo County is the exception with a frost advisory issued.

Extended:  Most of next week looks pleasant with passing clouds, breezy periods, and temperatures in the 60s and/or 70s during the afternoon hours with mainly 30s and 40s at night, but some mountain areas could be cooler. There are indications that much colder air could reach the area next week.
