I am truly a lifelong sports enthusiast. At a young age, I would entertain myself by doing play by play while watching different games. Even ambitious then, I did both the "play by play" and the color analysis of the action.
While I've been on the KRDO NewsChannel 13 sports team since 1999, I first was a sports producer in Hartford and sports director in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Since coming to work at KRDO NewsChannel 13, I've become a multiple recipient of the Colorado Broadcasters Association "Sportscaster of the Year" and have won the Colorado Associated Press "Best Sports Show" along with being awarded "Best Sportscast."
I've had many memorable experiences covering the exciting sports happenings throughout Colorado, but some of my favorite include the 2001 Avalanche Stanley Cup Championship, the 2005 AFC Championship and the 2004 March Madness in Denver.
My wife Cassie and I have two children, Robbie and Grace. While working in sports news is always exhilarating, my time with my family is the most precious to me. I credit them with helping me develop a strong work ethic.
