More storms on Wednesday with the possibility of hail and flash flooding

Tonight we will see mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm early in the evening. It will be on the breezy side with winds out of the north at 5 to 15 mph. A cold front will move through this evening which will kick up the winds for most areas along the I-25 Corridor. Expect overnight lows in the lower 60s.

Wednesday will bring us cooler temperatures and a good chance of scattered afternoon and evening storms. We do have the potential for heavy rain and hail with some of the stronger storms that do develop. We will have a Flash Flood Watch for the Aspen Burn Scar Area in effect from 1 P.M. through 8 P.M. Wednesday. If you live near that area, have a plan to get out if flooding occurs. Expect highs in the low to mid 80s. We will also be watching the Eastern Plains for the possibility strong to severe storms.

Expect mostly cloudy skies on Thursday with a slight chance of afternoon and evening storms. Highs will be back into the lower 90s.

Storm chances start to pick up once again on Friday, and right through the entire weekend. Highs will climb into the lower 90s for the Pikes Peak Region, and even warmer temperatures out on the Eastern Plains.
