You might’ve seen smoke downtown; Grass fire suppressed by Colorado Springs Firefighters

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Smoke was in the air on Sunday as firefighters were in downtown Colorado Springs putting out a grass fire near Bijou north of I-25.

The fire only burned a small amount of grass, but the blaze's potential was far greater due to the dry vegetation in the area

Thankfully Colorado Springs Fire says it didn't get close to any buildings and no one was reported hurt.
