Stolen property seized in Teller County; two suspects sought on felony charges

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Teller County Sheriff's Office is searching for two suspects after a Florrisant house search turned up numerous stolen items and a computer used to create vehicle identification number (VIN) plates.

On Friday, Sept. 15, the Teller County Narcotics Team executed a search warrant near Florissant. During the search, investigators seized a 1993 Ford Mustang, reported stolen out of Colorado Springs, with the suspect's court paperwork inside, seven ATVs with altered or removed VINs, five motorcycles with altered or removed VINs, and a .22 caliber rifle.

They also found a computer etching/engraving device used to create VIN plates, vehicle titles not in the suspect's names, several hundred keys to homes, post office boxes and vehicles, and checkbooks both personal and business.

According to the sheriff's office, drug paraphernalia, including needles, pipes, and scales, were found. There was also a small amount of narcotics residue found inside the residence.

At the time of the search, the two suspects were not there. They've been identified as Jerry Spinnichia, 42, and Emily Spinnichia, 40.

Felony warrants have been issued for both.

KRDO is working to figure out the relationship between the two suspects.
