COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Congressman Doug Lamborn has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a statement from his office to KRDO.

Lamborn, the Republican representative for the Colorado Springs area, is experiencing mild symptoms and he's isolating at his home in the Springs, according to the statement.

According to his office, Lamborn has been in contact with the US House Attending Physician and his following all CDC guidelines. He'll continue to work from home, and his office says "he looks forward to resuming his normal schedule soon."

Lamborn's office didn't specify where Lamborn may have contracted the virus, and it's not clear if any of his staffers are also infected at this time.
