24-hour Hair-A-Thon to benefit cancer patient
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Sunday, a 24-hour "Hair-A-Thon" will style hair and step up for a good cause. DJ Washington, owner of CoolBreeze Touch of Hair LLC in Colorado Springs, says that the goal is to help raise funds for a cancer patient.
The patient has been chosen by staff at UHC Health, and currently suffers from Stage 3B Cancer.
The Hair-A-Thon starts Sunday at 8:00am and runs until 8:00am on October 19th at On the Break Dance Studio, 2212 Academy Place in Colorado Springs. Music, food workouts and raffles will be at the event, and people can have their hair styled for a minimum donation of $10.
