WATCH: Colorado Springs protests begin peacefully Sunday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- For the second day in a row, crowds gathered in downtown Colorado Springs to protest the death of George Floyd and other incidents of police brutality.

Sunday's protest started much earlier than Saturday's and is scheduled to run until 4 p.m. according to its Facebook event page. The crowd started to form around 10 a.m. at the corner of Wahsatch and Bijou.

The protest is peaceful as of 1:30 p.m.

Saturday's protest began peacefully as well, but it turned violent in the evening hours.

  1. Just wandering…. Are we now treating the police force as the Jews were treated during the 1920s…. Sure looks the same in history to me

    1. No, but similar. More like how the Bolsheviks treated their fellow citizens. Gangs of kids rolling through cities setting fires and looting.

  2. Ok the police officer was arrested , so the protesters now are protesting ? and PLEASE do not burn down my place of work, i have kids to feed.

      1. Because they communicate, organize, and recruit through FB and Twitter. Once labeled, Mark and Jack will be ordered to remove them or face being branded a public utility and regulated by FCC, plus pay the taxes they never have. It’s not just Trumps game, Nancy wants them regulated, too
