Homicide investigation underway in Canon City
CANON CITY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Fremont County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after a man was fatally shot Saturday.
Deputies were called to the 2100 block of Washington Street for a reported shooting. At the scene, they found a male with a gunshot wound who later died at a local hospital. The victim's name is being withheld until his next of kin is notified.
