The School Buzz: Elementary students in Cascade singing through the semester

Ute Pass Elementary School students are truly in harmony to start the school year.

First graders at the Cascade school were recently posted online singing with music teacher Ian Ferguson. But the sing-along during the morning announcements is nothing atypical. It's a daily tradition that Mr. Ferguson has been doing with all students at the school. The sing-alongs are even live-streamed so family can watch each day.

Ferguson and the staff at Ute Pass are working hard to integrate more music into the school this year. Jackie Powell is the principal there and she says Mr. Ferguson is “incredible.” And that Ferguson also does a "Feel Good Friday" concert each week for the kids.
