Colorado Springs Police Department search for answers for man’s disappearance since 1990

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man who was reported missing since 1990 in Colorado.

On Jan. 15, 1990, Leland Zook was reported missing by a family member, police said.

According to police, Zook was last seen in either the downtown Colorado Springs or downtown Denver area on Nov. 1, 1989.

Police described Zook as a 62-year-old man, about five feet, eight inches tall, and weighing 135 pounds. He has black hair and blue eyes, police said. He typically doesn't carry identification.
