4th of July Symphony on Your Porch happening again this year
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The 4th of July Symphony on Your Porch is coming back this year.
Symphony in The Park was modified in 2020 as a COVID-19 precaution to celebrate Independence Day safely in Colorado Springs.
The Colorado Springs Philharmonic and Colorado Springs Sports Corporation came up with the idea to have residents watch the fireworks erupting across the Pikes Peak Region from the safety of their homes.
“The success of the 4th of July Symphony on Your Porch allowed our community to celebrate this patriotic day together no matter where you reside. It feels right to bring this event back and continue to foster a sense of unity throughout our great City” said Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers.
The following locations will be presenting firework displays, weather-permitting:
- The Broadmoor
- Cherokee Ridge Golf Course
- The Club at Flying Horse
- The Country Club of Cheyenne Mountain Resort
- Falcon Freedom Days at Meridian Ranch
- Fort Carson on July 2nd
- Garden of the Gods Resort and Club
- Patty Jewett Golf Course
Below is a map of the different locations where fireworks will be going off.
The Colorado Springs Philharmonic will be broadcasting a concert to go along with the firework shows across multiple radio stations.
