1 man dead, 1 seriously injured in assault at Vineyards of Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs police are investigating an assault and reported shooting after a man was found dead at Vineyards of Colorado Springs on Mira Linda Point.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, when officers found the man dead and a second man with multiple injuries. The second man was taken to the hospital and hasn't been identified at this time.
CSPD said an autopsy was completed on the deceased man on Aug. 3. he was identified as 31-year-old Daniel Ritchie Jr.
At this time, no criminal charges have been announced.
