Man arrested for allegedly firing multiple gunshots from apartment in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) arrested a man after he allegedly fired multiple rounds of gunshots from his apartment.

CSPD says they responded around 9:21 p.m. on Aug. 15 to an apartment complex near the 4100 block of Westmeadow Drive after receiving reports of gunshots.

According to police, an officer found multiple bullet holes exiting from an upper apartment. The officer made contact with the suspect, now identified as Robert Schoendorf.

Schoendorf was arrested, and officers found multiple firearms in his apartment, according to CSPD.

Police say Schoendorf acknowledged firing the rounds out of his apartment. No one was injured, and the damage was limited to Schoendorf's apartment, CSPD confirmed.
