Ka-BLUE-ey? Douglas County Sheriff’s Office asks for votes on bomb robot name

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is looking for input on the name of their bomb robot.

The robot, an Andros Spartan robot, will assist the bomb squad with communication and bomb defusion.

"Our previous robot was becoming outdated and couldn’t handle many of the critical tasks this advanced tool now can," wrote the sheriff's office on Facebook.

The sheriff's office says the funding for the new robot came from the federal level.

DCSO is asking for input on the following names:

• Ka-BLUE-ey

• Kaboom

• Johnny 5-0 (Short Circuit reference)

• R2 Detonate
