Shelter in place lifted near Memorial Park; Suspect is in custody
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) issued a shelter-in-place for the area of the 100 Block Lawrence Ave. Tuesday afternoon due to a barricaded suspect.
The shelter-in-place was lifted around 7:30 p.m. once the suspect was in custody. No one was injured in the incident.
CSPD said they were looking for a suspect related to a stolen car and believed they were possibly armed.
