I-25 reopens following bridge repair after deadly train derailment
PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO)-- Interstate 25 is reopening this morning (Dec. 19), just north of Pueblo at Mile Point 107.
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) confirmed with KRDO13 that roadways have reopened following construction to replace a bridge damaged from a train derailment on Oct. 15..

Nighttime closures were in place between Dec. 18 and 19 to replace the bridge, and re-install guardrails, paving, and striping.
CDOT stated they don't anticipate shutting down the interstate again, but there could be some lane closures in the future to finish construction.
