Woman kidnapped by her ex found alive in Wheat Ridge

COLORADO, USA (KRDO)-- A woman who was reported missing and allegedly kidnapped by her ex on Tuesday, July 25, has now been found alive.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office released a statement around 7:47 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, stating 43-year-old Jessica Meise was being transported to a hospital. Her conditions are unknown at this time.

The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Lance Foster, was arrested and taken into custody by West Metro SWAT Teams on the morning of Wednesday, July 26.

The Wheat Ridge Police Department stated the arrest took place at the 10200 block of 44th Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, July 25.


The Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) sent out the Endangered Missing Alert for the Aurora woman on Tuesday, July 25.

Witnesses who saw the incident reported Jessica Meise was being forcibly kidnapped/abducted at the 26000 block of E. Quincy Avenue in Aurora, Colorado.

The CBI reported Foster and Meise were possibly traveling in an unknown direction on I-70 and were headed westbound on E. Quincy Ave. at S. Gun Club Road around 5:47 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25. 

They stated Foster is a resident of Arvada and stated Meise was his ex-girlfriend who he has been stalking. 

The vehicle they were traveling in (pictured below) was reported to be a black 2008 Lincoln MKZ with a Colorado license plate issued to: BTMA53. 

Jessica Meise is described as white woman with brown hair and blue eyes, around 5’3, weighing about 135 pounds. 

Lance Foster is a white man, bald, with multiple tattoos on his head and neck. He has either brown or blue eyes, is around 5’10, and weighs around 190 pounds. 

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office stated they issued a metro-wide ‘Be on the Lookout’ and stated multiple law enforcement agencies were assisting in trying to locate the pair. 

Arapahoe County Sheriff's Deputies believed Meise was in danger at the time of the incident and it was unknown whether or not Foster was armed. 

As of now no further information has been released about this incident.
